Dysart Unified School District is conducting a review of its K-3 core reading curriculum during the 2026-2027 school year.
A committee of stakeholders will meet to evaluate the current core reading curriculum and determine whether it sufficiently meets the needs of Dysart students and teachers. The committee will consider whether the curriculum is aligned to Arizona Academic Standards, usable for teachers, and supportive of high-quality reading instruction.
Based on this review, the committee will determine whether the current curriculum continues to meet district needs or whether the district should initiate a formal curriculum adoption and bid process.
The K–3 Reading Curriculum Review Committee is scheduled to meet on:
September 23, 2026
September 28, 2026
October 7, 2026
