Celebrating Academic Excellence: SRHS Student Earns National Merit Recognition

We are thrilled to announce that Jackson Hall has been named a Commended Student in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program! 

Each year, roughly 1.3 million high school juniors nationwide take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) to enter the program. Out of those 1.3 million entrants, only the top four percent receive national recognition, placing Jackson among an elite group of high achieving scholars across the country. 

While 16,000 of those top scorers advance as Semifinalists, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation awards Letters of Commendation to approximately 34,000 students nationwide in recognition of their exceptional academic promise. Jackson’s outstanding score on the 2025 PSAT/NMSQT earned him this distinguished honor.
