When is the bookstore open for students?  

•  MONDAY:  Before school 6:45am – 7:10am + during both lunch periods
• TUESDAY – FRIDAY: Before school 6:45am – 7:10am + during both lunch periods + After school until 2:30pm

Can the bookstore take payments over the phone?  No, fees can be paid online or in person at the bookstore.

How do I make an online payment?   Go to dysart.org, click on PARENTS at the top of the screen, go to TOOLS on the right-hand side of the screen and click on ONLINE PAYMENTS.

What is the PE locker fee?  Classes such as PE, Lifetime Sports, Competitive Athletics, etc are charged a non-refundable locker rental fee of $5.00/semester.

What is the Competitive Athletics class fee?  Competitive athletics classes taken during the school day such as football/soccer/physical conditioning/etc have a fee of $25.00/semester.

What is the Pay To Participate fee?  Dysart Unified School District charges a Pay To Participate (PTP) fee of $150.00 for each school sport and marching band.  This fee is billed from VVHS via InTouch and can either be paid online at dysart.org or at the school bookstore.

Are there discounts available for PTP fees?   Yes, you will need to submit an alternate income survey each school year.  Please choose to ‘opt in’ your information as this allows the Nutrition Dept to share the information with the bookstore in order for any discounts to be applied.  If you qualify you will receive reductions in Pay To Participate fees as well as discounts on internet services and reduced college application fees.  The application can be found at schoolcafe.com.

Need a calculator or a class textbook?  You can borrow calculators, textbooks, and/or novels at the bookstore free of charge.  Items not returned by Friday April 30, 2027 will be charged as a ‘lost item’ on your student account and emails will be sent as a reminder - the fee will be removed once the item has been returned to the bookstore.

*Unpaid student fees will prevent students from purchasing parking, buying tickets for & attending school dances, and walking at graduation*

Can students park anywhere on campus?   No, students can only park in the back student parking lot after purchasing a parking pass - passes are $60.00 for the year and $30.00 for one semester.  There are NO REFUNDS on parking passes.

Where do West MEC students park?  If your home school is Dysart, Shadow Ridge, or Willow Canyon and you attend West MEC classes at Valley you will need a VVHS Parking Permit as all student parking is assigned.  There is no fee for DHS, SRHS, or WCHS students if you purchase a valid permit at your home school FIRST, but you MUST turn in a completed VVHS parking permit application to our bookstore (including copies of your valid license, car registration, & insurance).  Vehicles parked on campus without a valid permit will be ticketed and/or towed.
