When is the bookstore open for students?
- MONDAY: Before school 6:45am – 7:10am + during both lunch periods
- TUESDAY – FRIDAY: Before school 6:45am – 7:10am + during both lunch periods + After school until 2:30pm
When will Chromebook insurance be billed for the new school year? End of the day Friday Aug 7 - an email will be sent to student & parent/guardian emails once billed
What can I pay for at the Bookstore? Can the bookstore take payments over the phone? No, fees can be paid online or in person at the bookstore.
How do I make an online payment? Go to dysart.org, click on PARENTS at the top of the screen, go to TOOLS on the right-hand side of the screen and click on ONLINE PAYMENTS.

Are there discounts available for any fees? Yes, you will need to submit an alternate income survey each school year. Please choose to ‘opt in’ your information as this allows the Nutrition Dept to share the information with the bookstore in order for any discounts to be applied. If you qualify you will receive reductions in Pay To Participate fees as well as discounts on internet services and reduced college application fees. The application can be found at schoolcafe.com.
*Unpaid student fees will prevent students from purchasing parking, buying tickets for & attending school dances, and walking at graduation*
Can students park anywhere on campus? No, students can only park in the back student parking lot after purchasing a parking pass - passes are $60.00 for the year and $30.00 for one semester. There are NO REFUNDS on parking passes.
What happens if someone parks on campus without a parking permit? The student will be called down to the office and billed for a parking permit to be paid immediately. If the student/driver cannot be found the car may be towed at the owner’s expense.
Need a calculator or a class textbook? You can borrow calculators, textbooks, and/or novels at the bookstore free of charge. Items not returned by Friday April 30, 2027 will be charged as a ‘lost item’ on your student account and emails will be sent as a reminder - the fee will be removed once the item has been returned to the bookstore.
What happens if someone parks in my student assigned parking space? You must take a picture of the vehicle’s license plate and either send to the posted QR code OR email the picture to vvhs.bookstore@dysart.org IMMEDIATELY. You may then park in a carpool spot in the student back lot. *If you do not send the license plate information immediately you risk being ticketed and/or booted at your expense.
