This week, we’ll be celebrating Read Across America Week by having a spirit week, buddy reading, guest readers, and reading under the clouds.

Spirit Week

Monday, 3/4- Fox in Socks- Crazy Socks

Tuesday, 3/5- Oh the Places You'll Go- Wear a shirt from someplace you visited or a college shirt

Wednesday, 3/6- Cat in the Hat- Wear a hat or Crazy Hair

Thursday, 3/7- Reading Under the Clouds- Bring a beach towel, sun glasses, and a book

Friday, 3/8- My Many Colored Life- Wear as Many Colors as Possible

Mathlete Club

Calling all West Point Mathletes. Got a Big Brain for math? West Point is recruiting students in grades 3 through 8 who love math. Bring your Big Brain and come check out West Point’s Newest Club “Mathletes”. An Information Session is happening after school on Wednesday, March 6th at 4:15pm Room 217. Got questions? Dysart Festival of the Arts

Come join our band, choir, dance, theatre, and art students this Saturday, March 9th at the Festival of Arts. The festival will be held at Valley Vista High School from 10am-3pm. There are going to be over 100 performances from every elementary and high school band, choir, theater, and dance program in Dysart along with a beautiful art showcase. But it is not just performances there will be arts and crafts to participate in, chalk murals being created, over 50 vendor booths to shop, and tons of food trucks to snack at. It is free to attend. Please come spend your day celebrating and experiencing the arts with us and cheering on your classmates.
