Attendance Competition Week

This week, West Point is in competition with Surprise Elementary School for the highest attendance increase. We have daily drawings and activities planned to celebrate including a daily Chick Fil A sweet treat drawing. Must be present to win. On Wednesday, 10/29, Kona Ice will be providing K-8th grade students with a FREE Kona ice.

Spirit Week

10/27: Rhyme without Reason (things like bat/cat, song/long)

10/28: Opposite Day (mismatched clothes)

10/29: Phobia Day (dress up like the things that scare us)

10/30: Throwback Thursday (different time periods)

10/31: Spooky Comfy Day (comfy clothes, no slippers, no Halloween costumes)

Food Drive

West Point is participating in the annual Dysart Food Drive to support the Valley View Community Food Bank now through October 31st. Students can bring in donated items or parents can drop off items in the front office.

Quarter 1 Honor Assemblies

Students in 4th-8th grades will be honored on Friday, October 31st for having Principal's List, Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, or SPARK student of the month. Invitations were sent home last week for students being recognized.
