District Benchmarks

This week on Tuesday and Wednesday, West Point students in grades 3-8 will participate in district benchmark assessments. These benchmarks provide teachers with valuable information on student progress so that we can better support them with their academic success. Please mark your calendars for these important dates and ensure your students are there each day, ready to participate. 

Quarter 2 Honor Assemblies

We are excited to celebrate our students who earned principal's list, honor roll, perfect attendance, and SPARK students of the month during our Quarter 2 Honor Assemblies on Friday, January 30th. Invitations will be sent home this week.

9:15 AM- 7th and 8th Grades

9:45 AM- 6th Grade

1:45 PM- 4th and 5th Grades

McTeacher Night

Make dinner plans with us for Tuesday, January 27th, at the McDonalds on Litchfield and Waddell from 5PM to 7PM. Proceeds from sales benefit the school. A big thank you to the PTSA for sponsoring this event.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Conferences will be held the week of February 2-6th. Please watch for specific appointment times from your child’s teacher. We are aiming for 100% participation and appreciate your support! Please note that early release will take place on Thursday, February 5, and Friday, February 6, with dismissal at 1:45 PM to accommodate conferences. There will be no Preschool classes on these days.

Yearbooks

Preorders are ready for the 25/26 yearbook. Reserve your copy today! Eighth grade families can also purchase an 8th Grade Promotion Ad. The deadline to purchase an 8th grade ad is Feb 1st. Purchase Online Here

STEM Club

3rd - 8th graders interested in STEM can attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 4:00 PM. The STEM club will meet Wednesdays after school starting on Feb. 11th. Come join in on the fun and represent West Point at the district STEM competition.
