Read Across America Week

Monday – Fox in Sox Day: Wear your crazy socks.

Tuesday – Green Eggs & Ham Day: Wear green from head to toe.

Wednesday – Wacky Wednesday: Dress in your best Dr. Seuss-inspired wacky style.

Thursday – Oh, the Places You’ll Go Day: Dress as your future career or as a place you’ve been (or hope to visit).

Friday – Book Character Day: Dress as your favorite book character (dress code appropriate).


Family Literacy Night

Join us for a magical evening of reading, learning, and family fun on March 5th from 6:00–8:00 PM!


✨ Enjoy engaging literacy activities for all ages

🪐 Experience the Planetarium on Wheels from the Arizona Science Center

🔭 Explore the night sky with telescopes from the West Valley Astronomy Club


Bring a book and a blanket and get ready to read under the stars! This event is open to families of all ages—we can’t wait to see you there! 💫


Mathletes

If you are in 3rd through 8th grade and love math then consider joining our West Point Mathletes. Meetings and practices will begin on March 4th in Mrs. Smith's classroom, Room 217. For information regarding upcoming meetings and the competition, see Mrs. Smith in Room 217 or email at ruby.smith@dysart.org.


Festival of the Arts

This Saturday, March 7, 2026, we invite you to attend the Dysart Festival of the Arts presented by Germain Honda of Surprise held at Valley Vista High School from 10am-2pm. This festival will consist of over 100 performances from all elementary and high school band, choir, theater, and dance programs along with a beautiful Art Showcase. 


 In addition to all the performances and shows, there will be an Arts and Crafts fair with over 50 vendors from throughout the community and another 10 food trucks. Lastly, we hope you will visit the gym for our Arts Experience. The Arts Experience includes a multitude of hands-on experiences in all arts disciplines for any one of any age to try.  


This is a free family-friendly event that is open to the public. For more information or a detailed schedule of performances, please go to dysart.org/artsfest.  Please come spend your day celebrating and experiencing the arts with us.
