Weekly Update for March 25, 2024

AASA & AZSci State Testing

State testing season is upon us. We look forward to seeing the growth that our students have made this year. To help, families can ensure their children get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and are present on the day of testing. This week’s State testing schedule is as follows: Tuesday, March 26th- 5th & 8th Grade will take AZSci Part 1 Wednesday, March 27th- 5th & 8th Grade will take AZSci Part 2 Thursday, March 28th- 5th & 8th Grade will take AZSci Part 3

School Calendar

An old version of the 23/24 school calendar was distributed to some families who visited the front office. The calendar, in error, noted that we had school off on March 29th. School will be in session on Friday, March 29th. The next school recess is April 26th.

Basketball Games Begin

We would like to wish our girl’s and boy’s basketball teams good luck as they begin games this week.

Community Clothes Swap

The West Point PTSA is accepting gently used clothes for the Community Clothing Swap on 4/6/24. See page 4 in the newsletter for details. Donations can be dropped off at the school.
